About Samantha Wheeland, CRNP

Samantha is a Montoursville native, coming to Family Practice Center, with a diverse medical background to include acute care nursing, primary care, as well as infectious diseases and travel medicine. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Samantha was a graduate of Loyalsock High School, attended Misericordia University for both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and years later returning for her Master of Science in Nursing. She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Samantha also enjoys teaching, working part time with the Pennsylvania College of Technology Nursing Program, helping educate future nursing students. She is happily married with two boys ages 5 and 8. They have a family dog named Edi. As a family they enjoy spending lots of time outdoors hiking, hunting, and fishing.

Samantha most enjoys getting to know her patients and their families as well as being able to help them when they need it. She is eager to get started here at Family Practice Center providing primary care services to residents of Montoursville and the surrounding areas.
